7 Black Content Creators to Follow

It’s crazy how 2020 has gone so far. I’m trying to stay optimistic and know that all of this will be for the better. Even though being stuck indoors hasn’t been the greatest, I’ve been fortunate to be able to work, save money, spend more time with my sister and more. If you follow on Instagram, you’d know I want to try to provide as many resources as possible and not just quotes and cute illustrations for the Black Lives Matter movement. To do that, I wanted to share 7 Black content creators that I’ve recently been introduced to or have followed for years.

1. Bria Jones (@heybriajones)

I recently found Bria Jones through my friend, Teresa (@teresadesouza). She shared videos that Bria shared and I found them so enlightening to listen to. Her main niche is fashion and I absolutely love her style and photos! She also creates hilarious Tiktoks and is a must follow

2. Nahla Haze (@nahlahaze)

Say hello to the FIERCEST 4 year old you will ever meet. Of course, Nahla’s mother dresses her but I have not seen a kid with so much confidence and style.

3. Shannae Ingleton Smith (@torontoshay)

Shannae is known in the Toronto community. I found her account by seeing her IGTV that was a montage to Black creators she’s friends with. The video warmed my heart so much.

4. Asiyami Gold (@asiyami_gold)

Asyami is a visual story-teller and I can’t tell you how much her photography inspires me. She is so confident and beautiful in every photo. She also has an amazing fashion sense and pulls off every look.

5. Anne Marie Munoz (@anne.marie.munoz)

I’ve been following Anne Marie for a few years and I’ve always admired her photography. She is a photographer so it’s no surprise her photos would look incredible but she is one hell of a model as well.

6. Onyi Moss (@mossonyi)

The number one thing I love about Onyi’s page is her poses. I do get compliments on my own poses but I definitely have been inspired by Onyi’s style since I found her account. She is a stunner and looks incredible in any style.

7. Karina (@styleidealist)

Karina is a pastel princess! I am in love with her pastel feed at the moment. Her sense of style is very versatile which I LOVE because I relate to that so much. It’s so refreshing seeing her wear any colour and any style.

Adrienne has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the last few years. We’ve collaborated on a couple of campaigns now, and not only does she get great results for our clients, but she always goes above and beyond what we ask for and creates the most exceptional, creative content! Adrienne has an eye for art direction like no other, and any brand would be very lucky to get the chance to work with her.

It has been a great experience working with Adrienne! She is creative and talented and provided much more content than we expected, which was greatly appreciated! We worked together on a campaign and would gladly work with her again in the future. With creativity and passion behind her work, it is exciting following the fresh content she continues to create.
