Lavender Lookbook

Good afternoon/evening! Today’s post is coming to you a little later in the day because of technical struggles with my hard drive. Anyways, today’s the last day of the long weekend and I’ve been constantly on the go this entire year. Whether it’s going to work, getting blog content, I always have something to do, which is a good thing!
Now onto the post! My favourite colour is purple, specifically lavender. I love wearing lavender during the spring and summer because of how perfect the shade is with just about anything spring related. After realizing the lavender pieces I got this year and have yet to showcase on my blog, I thought it’d be perfect to have a lookbook based on how I wear lavender.

OUTFIT 1
This outfit isn’t out of this world or anything life changing like that. It’s a super simple outfit with a thin lavender sweater from H&M and an overall dress from Forever 21. I love the fact that the overall dress isn’t the typical button up one but a zipper all the way down (similar to the Dynamite denim dress I’ve worn on my blog before!)

OUTFIT 2

I am so obsessed with this frilled top from H&M! I got it for $15 which was such a steal considering it was originally $60. I’ve worn it before (in my Shop My Instagram Outfits) but this time, I styled it with a white sleeveless blazer and grey jeans instead. It’s half dressy but half casual because of the shoes I chose.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before but one of my favourite parts about blogging is how experimental I can get with my wardrobe. A few months ago, I had a “Pattern Mixing” post but if you noticed, they were very subtle. This time, I felt comfortable to have more a bolder approach to the trend.
