It feels like it’s been a while since I posted when in reality, it actually hasn’t been. I’m not sure if it’s because I feel like I haven’t taken photos in a while or just the fact that the holidays are the busiest at work so my days have been feeling extra long! Moving on, I wanted to have a different kind of style guide/lookbook for the holidays because as much as I love coming up with super festive outfits, realistically, I rarely ever have a holiday party or event where I get super dressed up. I wanted to make this a bit more relaxed but still fashionable to show you that you can dress cozy and look put together for the holidays!
OUTFIT 1: COZY AF
The first look features an item that almost every female has which is the very comfortable teddy coat! I own a black one and featured it last year in my “5 Types of Outerwear You Should Own In Your Wardrobe” post but today I’m featuring a brown one that I got from SheIn recently! It’s definitely one of the coziest coats I own! I went very simple by wearing an off white sweater and went a little festive by wearing burgundy shorts and a matching beanie.
OUTFIT 2: SUBTLE VIBES
Overall dresses/skirts are one of my favourites and I love that more stores are coming out with thicker material for it so you can wear it during the fall/winter months! This particular one is a houndstooth print win camel, cream and forest green in it. I paired it with a matching green beret, some winter warm thermal tights and a camel coat to tie everything together. This outfit is super comfy but still very put together and festive because of the evergreen!
OUTFIT 3: FESTIVE NEUTRALS
For this outfit, I wanted to be more neutral so I opted to mainly wear grey. I paired a very festive/winter sweater from H&M that I’m obsessed with. The sleeves are a bigger at the shoulder and taper down which gives an oversized sweater effect without being drowned. I paired it with a dark grey metallic skirt from Joe Fresh that I received as a Christmas gift a few years ago. To make it more put together, I added a black waist belt and cabby hat. Of course you need a coat this time of year so I continued with the monochromatic vibes by wearing another dark grey coat.
