1 Item, 3 Ways: Plaid Skirt

There are some very typical fall pieces that a majority of people own and one of those are a plaid skirt! I’ve always wanted a pleated school skirt and to be honest, the best ones are from school uniforms. The one that’s featured in this 1 Item, 3 Ways is actually from a school uniform company in Ontario that I thrifted. I swear, my high school uniform wasn’t this cute so whoever’s school this is, I’m really jealous.

OUTFIT 1

This was actually my very first fall outfit of 2018 and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I love how flawlessly everything went together and the fact that the sweater and skirt were both thrifted make me so happy because it shows how you can get more affordable clothing and still make a very chic look!

OUTFIT 2

As you know, whenever I have something multicoloured, I match one of the colours for the other part of the outfit. I wanted to see how orange would look with the skirt and it definitely felt like a more casual vibe. I decided to throw on a denim jacket that was also thrifted. I love the details on the front of the jacket because it adds a little bit of a dressy vibe to the look. Of course, I wore a hat and this time I chose one of my new wool hats that I got from Aldo!

OUTFIT 3

I couldn’t go without posting more of a preppy school girl outfit. After all, the skirt is from a school uniform company! I decided to try wearing olive with and it looks pretty good at the end! To make it more preppy, I added a fitted blazer and wore Mary Jane heels. Since it was the beginning of fall when I took this, I have no tights on haha.

I just bought the cutest plaid skirt for fall fashion but have literally only paired it with a black shirt lol. I love the denim jacket touch!
