Style the Trend: Animal Print

Happy Tuesday! There is so much fall content I want to push out because I’ve been getting a bunch of unique pieces that I’m too excited to share with you. Like I said in my previous post, animal print is one of the hottest trends this season. I never thought I’d wear animal print but things change, people change, you know the whole sha-bang. If you’re like me who wasn’t into animal prints but want to start trying, I came up with 3 different looks for you to try out if you’re wanting to get out of your comfort zone or in need of inspiration of how to style this type of print. I decided to officially start a new category on my blog called “Style the Trend” where I pick one (or more) of the trends each season and show how I’d style it.

This faux fur coat from SheIn is by far one of my favourite pieces I got this season! Everyone was so put off when I showed it to them but when I wore it out, I got a bunch of compliments. I’m in love with the subtle animal print on the bottom because it’s not so much of a statement like other leopard print coats, therefore, you can pair it with more items! I really wanted to pair this with a leopard beret but it’s been impossible for me to find one that matches my coat so I opted for a black velvet one from Forever21 to mix a different type of texture. I went casual with the rest of the look by wearing a long sleeve turtleneck and jeans.

For those you aren’t into the leopard print, there is a bunch of snakeskin clothing options as well in stores! This particular leather dress is from SheIn and I love the colours of this print because it’s not so dramatic but also gives a statement. I wanted to make the look more dramatic by wearing it with a blouse that’s also from SheIn! If you’re interested in purchasing from SheIn, I have a discount code: ADRIE15 for 15% off!

As for the last outfit, I wanted to try out the camisole over a long sleeve top look. This look was never really up my alley but I love trying new things out when it comes to my wardrobe and I ended up loving this look! Since I want the animal print to stand out, I tend to pair it with plain pieces. I accessorized it with a double circle belt to add some more colour to this very dark look!
