What I Wore: Niagara-On-The-Lake

Happy Monday everyone! I’m excited for today’s post because I was able to go on a little weekend getaway with my boyfriend Noah to Niagara-on-the-Lake this past weekend and of course, I have to show you what I wore during this! We spent the weekend going around different wineries on a bike tour followed by an evening out on the strip. I’ll be posting more about this trip with a mini travel guide later in the week. Personally I love this little town so much more than the typical touristy Clifton Hills! It has such an adorable charm to it. For the outfits, I’m so excited for it because I got the opportunity to work with Na-kd which has easily become one of my favourite online stores! I do shop at Na-kd on my own so I’ve marked the items that were sent to me with an asterick in the outfit details.

Most of the day was spent at the winery tour (from 11am-5pm) so I wanted something a bit more comfy. I was so excited to wear this asymmetrical denim skirt from Na-kd because it’s different from the typical Levi’s one that I wore ALL the time last year. I still love that one but this one is so fun to style because of the asymmetric and frayed hem. I did go on a bicycle wine tour to be exact so this wasn’t an ideal choice for bottoms but I thought it was worth it for the overall look. For the top, I’m also wearing an off-the shoulder top and paired it with a gold crescent necklace that is also from Na-kd. I love the two necklaces because they come together but they can be worn separately which makes it perfect for layering! I felt like this outfit wasn’t complete without a square scarf so I tied one that I got from Black Market Vintage in a low ponytail. As for the shoes, I obviously went for my most casual pair being my Converse All Star! Also, if you’re interested, there is a matching skirt that’s available with this top (you all know how much I love matching sets!)

For my night out on the strip, I wanted to dress up and go all out with this one shoulder red dress. I am OBSESSED with the flounces and I  think it’s my favourite piece I ever got from them (which says a lot because I’m so in love with the dress I wore on Valentine’s from them). I think one shoulder tops and dresses will go back into style and usually I was against them but once I saw this on the website, I was immediately drawn to the bold colour. I went simple and paired  it with my favourite white heels from Forever21 and wore my obsession, my hexagon Kembali Collective straw bag. Dresses from Na-kd are probably my favourite because they have a huge range of styles and you can find the perfect one for any occasion you’re looking for so I definitely recommend you check it out!

I did wear another outfit but due to weather conditions I couldn’t take photos of it but it’ll be up next week because I’ll be taking a day trip this weekend to show you the places to go in Milton, Ontario! Which piece was your favourite? Let me know in the comments below!
