Winter’s been one hell of a ride for us Torontonians because of all of the extreme cold weather alerts and the random weeks of sunshine. So for this year’s winter lookbook, all of these looks can be adjusted by adding a few layers to keep you warm!
The one thing I despise about the cold weather is that I can’t wear my sleeveless blazers/coats as much as I want to. I love this sleeveless peacoat from ASOS I got a couple of years ago but it tends to stay in my closet for most of the year. I decided to layer it on top of a faux leather jacket which is a staple in my closet! I went simple by having a cashmere turtleneck underneath and dark wash jeans. Of course, I had to wear my go-to belt as well. To top it off, I wanted to coordinate with the peacoat by wearing a toque from Forever21!

This last minute outfit is probably one of my favourites to wear now! To make it even better, it was extremely warm to wear on a -15 degree today. Excluding all the thermal I was wearing underneath, I wore a short sleeve cashmere with a cardigan on top. I never had a cardigan in my closet so this one from ASOS during their Boxing Day sale was perfect to add on top. To accessorize, I added statement earrings to tie in with the belt buckle! My coat is from PopJulia which I’m obsessed with; it has such a unique way of closing it. On the website it says it’s mustard but it looks more camel in real life!
If you’ve noticed, I mainly wear turtlenecks in the winter! I decided to be different with styling the belt by adding it around the teddy coat I received from Tobi a couple of months ago. To make it a bit more edgy, I threw on these star jeans that Carolina gave me that she found at Winners! To no surprise, I wore my H&M cabby hat that I will forever adore.

I either wear really dark colours for the fall/winter or really pastel looks so I wanted to make sure one look was lighter! I wore a ruffled sweater from SheIn and paired it with my favourite pair of jeans at the moment. Lately I’ve been loving coordinating even more so than usual so I decided to wear this pearl beret from ASOS. I love it so much because it’s a cluster of pearls that are neutral coloured.
