Holiday Partywear Lookbook 2017

How’s everyone been doing? It’s been crazy busy for me. I feel like I’m constantly shooting, filming and editing, and then it repeats! I’m slowly working on expanding my blog (which I’m super excited to show you another beauty post next week!) and coming up with different types of posts for you guys. I love my styling posts but it does get harder when you post so many outfits all the time (especially when you’re not shopping 24/7). Anyways, I have a bunch of holiday inspo in store for you so I’m happy to start sharing it 🙂

Now that it’s December, I can finally post more about the holidays without people saying “It’s so far away still” and such. The holidays are my favourite; seeing the Christmas decor and lights absolutely everywhere is so magical. I don’t understand why people wouldn’t be excited for this time of year. Of course I can’t start off the season on my blog without releasing a lookbook! As you can tell by the title, this mini lookbook is for all of those who are going to holiday parties!

You can never go wrong with a dress for a party! They’re the classic go-to outfit because you can just throw it on and you’re out the door. Although the dress is a statement on it’s own, I decided to pair it with my bomber jacket from Zara to add more of a statement. As for shoes, I tied the whole look together by adding gold and black sandals I got from Zara as well. I’m not a heels person so much so most of the shoes I own have a block heel which I think are perfect for parties because you’ll be on your feet for most of the night!

There’s so many people who love wearing all black outfits or mainly have a minimalistic wardrobe. I, for one, am not that person. I usually go for grey versus black because I feel like it’s so dark. This outfit, I mixed different textures by having the scuba material paired with a plumetis blouse. This gave off a very classy and elegant look. Since I went for an all black look, I decided to have a velvet bag for a pop of texture and colour!

Last but not least, I had to include an outfit with more colour! This gorgeous sequinned sweater is from Zara’s newest collection (and a gift from my lovely boyfriend). I paired it with a patent skirt as well as these amazing bejewelled tights! The jewels on it matched perfectly with the sweater so I was excited to pair the two. To add some more edge to the outfit, I opted for the coolest flats I own which has sick stud details!
